The basic free plans (on most sites offering a service) are great, until they’re not.
I was blissfully unaware that my recently ‘compressed’ 9-minute plus video, was still too big for the basic ‘once a week’ upload on Vimeo.
As I said, Vimeo has been a great host, however, after looking at their packages and plans…
let’s just say, I’m ‘currently’ not being supported enough, to be able to move to even the cheapest, especially considering all the other financial outlays we currently have.

To add to my recent annoyance, YouTube was taking an age to upload the main video, which was under its file-size limit, so that obviously means finding alternatives.
I’m now faced with having to look for at least 2 video streaming/sharing platforms which will allow my videos and enable me to embed them here on the site.
Which also means I have to do another video, to replace the one I recorded a couple of days ago.

The top alternatives for me are Rumble, Bit Chute and Daily Motion…
What do you think?
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the email.
After reading most of the Ts & Cs of Daily Motion, I think I’ll opt to go the Bit Chute and Rumble Route.
I’ll keep the Vimeo account open (like Twitter) but my main publishing will be done via YouTube (when they see sense) as well as Bit Chute and Rumble.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Amani!
